TCMAC Classic Airplane Fly-In

The TCMAC has decided to hold a Classic Airplane event this November. This will be the start of what we hope is a successful ongoing event. The idea is to have a Fly-In type atmosphere with no dedicated competition, just a great get together with some nice scale models. A best afield perpetual trophy will be awarded on the day with sponsor Jim Williams from Classic Airplanes in Albury judging what he thinks is the model of the meet. To be eligible the model must meet the simple criteria of being modelled on a full size aircraft built between the years 1910 and 1950. Whilst we hope to have a mass fly-by of all the models in a decade/era format, models do not need to fly to be eligible to win the trophy. For this inaugural event the format will be casual and will be on the one day only. This of course does not mean you can’t come out and enjoy our great facilities on the Saturday as well, or even the Friday. Camping at the field is allowable so if your coming from away, feel free to make a long weekend of it. See you there.
