Busy Season of Flying Ahead

Well the countdown is on for the start of Daylight Savings (Sunday October 6th) and the weather has started to turn with gorgeous mornings and stunning afternoons here one the border.

TCMAC has a busy few weeks coming up starting with the Pattern Competition and the State Control Line Comp scheduled for the long weekend of October 5,6 and 7.

All members are urged to attend and enjoy some excellent flying from both disciplines and, if you can, please consider offering a hand in the kitchen. We don’t get a lot of opportunities to raise some much need coin for the club, and these events allow us to do so, but please don’t leave it up to the same few guys to do all the work.

Next up after the long weekends events will be our annual show at the Albury Airport in conjunction with the Albury Aero Club.

Last year we had a great turn out, so if you came along in 2018, please come again, and if you didn’t, come along, bring a model or two or three and enjoy the day chatting to the public about our hobby.

Finally, TCMAC is again holding the Classic Airplane Fun Fly. This will be on Saturday November 23rd and Sunday November 24th.  Sunday will be the main day and include a Swap Meet. More details on the Events page.

Also, be on the look out for a new event coming soon, The inaugural EDF Jet event. Something to look forward to.
