TCMAC conducted its annual Scale Rally on the weekend of 29th and 30th April. After many false starts due to Covid and other restrictions in recent years it was great to see a good turnout with pilots coming from as far away as South Australia, Sydney, Canberra, Ararat, Melbourne and various locations in between. The weather provided good flying conditions and over 40 aircraft were on display and taking to the air.
The facilities and grounds were in tip top condition. Many campers enjoyed a “big breakfast” and many positive comments were forthcoming regarding the catering and hospitality shown at the event.
It was difficult to choose a winner as the models were of a very high standard. It was decided that the winner of the event was Wayne Harrison with his Fokker D7. The Roto 85cc twin sounded magnificent.
